The Rotary Club of Rawalpindi held its 72nd Installation Ceremony, graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Hans-Hermann Kasten, Vice President of Rotary International for 2024-25, accompanied by his spouse, Nadja Isabel Picard. The event marked a significant occasion for the club, further enhanced by the attendance of prominent Rotary leaders.
Distinguished guests included Past Rotary International Director M. Faiz Kidwai, Advisors to Non-District Clubs; Past District Governors SaifUllah Ejaz Ch. and Masrur J. Scheik, along with other Past District Governors and Rotary leaders. Past President Ishrat Shameem, Coordinator of the Central Zone, also honored the ceremony with her presence.
Rotary leaders and members from various clubs participated in large numbers, contributing to the event's vibrant atmosphere.
The highlight of the ceremony was the formal installation of Rtn. Ali Muddasar as the President of Rotary Club Rawalpindi. The event was conducted with elegance and tradition, reflecting the club's long-standing commitment to service.
In his address, Rotary International Vice President Dr. Hans-Hermann Kasten congratulated Rtn. Ali Muddasar on assuming the presidency and expressed his gratitude to the Rotary leaders and members for the warm welcome extended to him and his spouse.
The ceremony also included the official announcement of the Board of Directors of Rotary Club Rawalpindi. As a token of appreciation, the President and representatives of other clubs presented shields and gifts to the dignitaries.
The event concluded with a delightful Hi-Tea, allowing members and guests to socialize and celebrate the new leadership.
