Weekly Meeting - Media Coverage

Regular meeting of Rotary Club of Rawalpindi was held on Monday 22nd August, 2016 at Shalimar Hotel, Rawalpindi. President Waseem Riaz Malik presided over the meeting which was attended by a large number of RC Rawalpindi members, Rotaractors and guests of RC Rawalpindi. In the meeting Rtn. Tariq Ch. donated UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) Unit  for the RC Rawalpindi School Tarnol.

After the meeting, a discussion session was arranged which was covered by program Soch Factory of K2 TV in which members spoke about history of Rotary International, history of RC Rawalpindi and the activities carried out by RC Rawalpindi since its creation in 1953. This was the first time in District 3272 that a regular meeting of a Rotary Club was aired by a News Channel and general public got to know about Rotary. Members who spoke in the program included President Waseem Riaz Malik, PP. Haroon Sulaiman Khan, PP. Abdul Mannan Khan, PP. Munir Ahmed Tanoli, PAG Khusnud ul Hassan, PAG  Nosherwan K. Khan,  PP. Rasid Mashkoor, Rtn. Shahid Anwar, Rtn. Bashir A Mirza, Rtn. Mrs. Masooda Ejaz Butt and Rotractors of  Rotaract Club of Rawalpindi.

Immediate Past President Taimur Khalil Khan gave the Vote of thanks. At the end of the ceremony President Waseem Riaz Malik hosted a delicious Dinner for RC Rawalpindi Members and Guests.
